Next Chapter Book Club

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Highland Park Library

Next Chapter Book Club offers community-based book clubs for adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Our members (including some who cannot read) love the way books transport them to different worlds where they meet interesting characters and learn about exciting new things. Taking that journey with a group of friends makes it even more delightful and fun.

Participants meet weekly for one hour to read aloud and discuss a book, which will be provided by the library and can earn volunteer hours by helping us pilot this new book club!  Our winter/spring book will be The Mouse and the Motorcycle and members will have a chance to vote on future books. For more information see:http://guides.sppl.org/nextchapterbookclub or call or e-mail Erin with questions (651-266-7000, #5 ask for Erin or erin.zolotukhin-ridgway@ci.stpaul.mn.us)

Recommended for ages: 14 +. Membership is limited to 10 participants and a one-time registration is required by signing up on the online calendar or contacting Erin by phone or by e-mail (see contact information above).
