Ten Thousand Things Theater will present the play Intimate Apparel at Rondo Library on Sunday April 30. In anticipation of the performance, join us for a workshop of acting, dialogue, and song led by local actors T. Mychael Rambo and Regina Williams.
Ten Thousand Things Theater presents Intimate Apparel by Lynn Nottage. It is the story of an African American seamstress in the early 1900s, her long-distance correspondence and romance with a worker on the Panama Canal, and her loving friendships with a prostitute and a Jewish tailor. The play is directed by Austene Vann and features Aimee Bryant, Darius Dotch, Dame-Jasmine Hughes, George Keller, Kris Nelson and Karen Wiese-Thompson. Best for ages 14 and up.
Join T. Mychael Rambo and Regina Williams for a discussion of the play Intimate Apparel. This is a post-show opportunity to unpack the language, the interaction, and the themes of the play with local actors.
