the theme of home through poetry. We’ll share poems that explore house and home
and also learn some basic craft choices —from playing with sound and writing
from the five senses to learning about line and other elements of poetry.
We will share poems that inspire us. you can leave with ideas for continuing
writing on your own. Whether you’re new to poetry or have a lifetime of experience,
you are welcome to join this session. Instructor Naomi Cohn is a writer,

Accompanied by music ranging from classical to lively dance tunes, each member
of this cast of intricate, hand-crafted marionettes will entertain you with his
or her own special talents. In a typical performance, you'll see a penguin try
his luck on the flying trapeze. You'll see an ostrich attempt to fly. You'll
see dancing and juggling and much much more.

departmentfor a wide range of multicultural
programs including puppetry, magic, live animals, storytelling, music, and
much more! This literacy-based program selects performers for
both their entertainment value and their ability to promote the joys of reading
and libraries to young audiences.
