Next Chapter Book Club

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Highland Park Library

Next Chapter Book Club offers community-based book clubs for adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Our members (including some who cannot read) love the way books transport them to different worlds where they meet interesting characters and learn about exciting new things. Taking that journey with a group of friends makes it even more delightful and fun.

Participants meet weekly for one hour to read aloud and discuss a book, which will be provided by the library and can earn volunteer hours by helping us pilot this new book club!  Our first book will be Lucky Dogs, Lost Hats, and Dating Don’ts and members will have a chance to vote on future books.

Recommended for ages: 14 +. Membership is limited to 10 participants and a one-time registration is required by e-mailing or calling Erin Zolotukhin-Ridgway at: erin.zolotukhin-ridgway@ci.stpaul.mn.us, 651-266-7000, #5 (ask for Erin). Initial information I need: First name, last name, phone #, e-mail address. Online registration through calendar is no longer available so please e-mail or call.
