Como Zoo Park and Conservatory
Saturday Live!

Como Park Zoo and Conservatory presents, "Frog-a-Wocky!" Frog-a-Wocky! dives into the fabulous (and sometimes noisy) world of frogs. Students will join us as we trek through the swamp in search of the noisy, little peeper. Then we’ll make a frog “chorus” and end with meeting live animals that will help teach the difference between frogs and toads. Featured story: Possum and the Peeper by Anne Hunter

In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater presents “On the Day You Were Born”: Based on the award winning children’s book by Debra Frasier, this toy theater production combines puppetry, poetry and music that celebrate the natural miracle of the earth. The author’s radiant collage illustrations translate to a miniature stage as puppeteers open trick boxes releasing the wonders described in the book.
