Irish Dance
Come and try Irish step dance! The quick light quality of Irish music keeps your feet moving. We will learn reels, jigs and traditional circle dances. Get a flavor of the culture through music and dance-it is hard to stay still! Taught by dance instructor Sarah Weaver. Ages 13 and up. This is part of the Creative Movement series of events. Yoga
Classes consist of a combination of yoga postures, breathing exercises and deep relaxation techniques. This practice helps students tune in to their own body to develop a sense of connection with oneself. Classes are taught by Chris Gordon, the owner of Big River Yoga in Minneapolis. He has been teaching yoga students of all levels for almost twenty years and leads the teacher training program at Saint Paul College. Yoga mats provided. Ages 13 and up. This is part of the Creative Movement series of events. Supported by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
